District 18 Committees

Collective Bargaining Committee

The Collective Bargaining Committee (CBC) represents the Members while preparing and maintaining the Collective Agreement (CA). The CBC collects information from members to provide recommendations for negotiations and monitor the implementation of the CA.

Educational Services Committee 

The Educational Services Committee (new name for PD Committee) assists the Educational Services Lead in reviewing applications for individual Professional Development funds and in planning Professional Development activities for the Membership.

Equity,
Anti-Racism and Anti-Oppression Committee

The Equity, Anti-Racism and Anti-Oppression Committee would assist the Lead in advancing equity across the district, assist in developing practices that remove barriers to participation, and promote engagement of equity-deserving Members. 

Political Action Committee

The Political Action Committee would facilitate connections between OTs through Member engagement and support, and promote OT interests in the workplace, union, and community for the protection and enhancement of public education.
